Guide for Authors

Preparation of manuscripts:

No paper that has been previously published, that has been copyrighted, or that is being considered for publication elsewhere, should be submitted to the JIMS. Nor may a paper that is under consideration by the JIMS be submitted elsewhere.

By submitting a manuscript to JIMS, the author/authors agree that the copyright for his/her/their article is transferred to the JIMS, if and when, the paper is accepted for publication. The published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CCBY), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided each paper is properly cited.

We kindly recommend to all authors especially young ones to review again publication ethics. There are many good sources for reminding publication ethics e.g. visit COPE.

All manuscripts should be prepared by using the Style file of the JIMS.  Each submision must be submitted electronically via the online submission site.

While you are preparing your paper for submission, please take care of the following:

  • Name of PDF file: It should be family name(s) of author(s) separated by dash character. "- ", e.g., Everrit-Donelly.pdf
  • Abstract: 150 words or less with no reference number therein.
  • MSC2010: Primary: only one item; Secondary: at least one item.
  • Key words: At least 3 items and at most 5 items.
  • Authors: Full names, mailing addresses and emails of all authors.
  • The JIMS generally do not allow the addition, deletion, or rearrangement of author names in the authorship of accepted manuscripts.
